“Casino Innsbruck supports cancer research”

As part of the national initiative “Our Commitment to Austria” by Casinos Austria AG (CASAG), Casino Innsbruck underscores its profound commitment to socially relevant projects. A generous donation of €5.000 was presented to the Tyrolean Cancer Research Institute/Tiroler Krebsforschungsinstitut (TKFI), an innovative institution in the fight against cancer.

The TKFI has established itself as a private initiative of the non-profit association “Vereins zur Förderung der Krebsforschung in Tirol”. Unique in its funding, research focus, and organization in Austria, the institute was founded by the Tiroler Landeskrankenanstalten GmbH and donations from the Tyrolean industry and population.

In addition to the generous donation, Casino Innsbruck collected additional funds through a “Casino-on-Tours” event to further support the TKFI. The money directly supports various research projects at the institute, which make an important contribution to the advancement of cancer therapy.

Martin König, Director of Casinos Innsbruck and Seefeld, emphasizes the socially relevant support of cancer research and adds: “We are very pleased to be able to support the TKFI as a strong partner and driver of positive change in cancer research. We know how resource-intensive research can be and hope to make a sustainable contribution to cancer research with our initiative in the coming year.”
