We, the TKFI, would like to introduce you to our new research group. The ONCOkinase lab from the Institute of Molecular Biology of the University of Innsbruck (https://www.uibk.ac.at/molbiol/research/oncokinase-lab/).

The goal of the ONCOkinase lab is to understand the molecular mechanisms of pathological proteins. On the one hand, the basic researchers investigate how melanoma medications alter molecular interactions of enzymes, specifically the kinases. On the other hand, they focus on the analyses of tumor suppressor proteins that play central roles in the etiology and progression of cancer.
